This was a very trying time for us. Mark was a great help in comforting us with his wonderful music. This part of the service was asked for years ago and we were so blessed to have found Mark. When Mark says that he is the number one piper on Gigmasters in the San Joaquin Valley, he is telling the truth. Mark is a professional and a superb musician. My family was honored and blessed to have him play for my Irish Catholic Moms funeral this last Friday. The music was somber and reflective. Mark showed up early, prepared and ready to go for our military Dining Out, despite driving four hours to get here. He was very accomodating with the demands of US Navy tradition, including Parading the Beef and entrance march. He was very familiar with the process and put me at ease, and I have already recommended him to another squadron for their Dining Out. We requested a lament to be played as the family and friends processed in and his suggestions were good and timely - beautifully done. As a former drum major of a pipe and drum corp, I believe I have the credentials to give him the highest marks in musicianship and he could have passed an inspection in the Black Watch. I don't know how all those 4.5 ratings occurred! I tried to rate all areas a 5! Our piper Mark Little was wonderful! He found sheet music to practice extra songs we thought would be good pre funeral music & post after it was over. He took a personal interest & asked to see the bio we'd written for my nephew, so he could get a feel for the person he was playing for. We loved our piper in all areas of his performance & for his excellent communication!

Mark and his associate Reece really entertained our group, who have often listened to bagpipes in other locations. Mark co-ordinated with me for a dramatic entrance, and the pair captivated our group with lively tunes. Mark and Reece looked very professional and interacted easily with our group.
